Challenge
To provide an educational
and useful consumer platform that promotes the U.S. fruit industry
by utilizing existing marketing channels.
Solution
A community website that offers
content and helpful information to consumers. The website offers
approximately 1000 fruit recipes that can be selected by fruit
type or categories. A dynamically changing top 5 list offers
a daily variety of recipes for repeat visitors. Further, the
user can also submit his or her favorite fruit recipe to the
database. Editors prior to database inclusion review the recipes.
In addition, online games are available to increase repetitive
site traffic.
The promotion is done through
stickers on fruit distributed through grocery stores nationwide.
